We are looking for a talented, enthusiastic, and experienced Jr. Misc Steel Project Manager / Estimator to join our team in London, Ontario.
 
OVERVIEW:

The Jr. Project Manager / Estimator is responsible for the assistance of procurement, planning, execution and management of client projects, with the goal of delivering every project on time, within budget and within scope. 
 
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Source/identify and secure new project opportunities;
• Review of all tender documents and estimate tenders accordingly utilizing current labour rates/equipment rental and third party vendor pricing;
• Provide project documents for completion of drawings and review project scope.
• Communicate clearly with Senior project manager with regards to project schedule and all relative information relating to the scope of the project;
• Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for seamless execution of project;
• Develop a project plan to monitor and track progress;
• Proactively manage changes to the project scope, schedule and costs;
• Conduct regular site visits to measure project progress and quality of workmanship;
• Review the status of the project with senior project manager on an ongoing basis, as well as any new developments or issues arising on the project;
• Successfully manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders;
• Communicate any key developments or issues arising on the project to the senior project manager in a timely manner;
• Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation;
• Participate in weekly Managers’ meetings to review scheduling, current and upcoming work, staffing and processes.
